With a large library of sheet music, our quintet can play programs varying from a basic one-hour concert format up to 3 hours in duration. On rare occasions, even longer concerts are possible, but only with plenty of advance notice and preparation, not to mention lots of lip breaks!
Certain times of the year are very busy for us, and we are ready with programs that bring musical cheer to major holidays and celebrations such as Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Valentines Day, Mardi Gras, Cinco de Mayo, and Oktoberfest, to name a few.
We also offer a variety of thematic concert programs. Here are some of the more popular ones:
– Charleston Time – (1920s music)
– Around The World (a musical trip around the world)
– Great Composers/Songwriters
– Valentines Day/Love
– The Four Seasons (literally seasonal so, Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter)
– Remembrance Day
– The Canadiana (all Canadian music)
– For The Kids! (Children’s concert…for kids, Little & Big)
With enough advance notice, we can also create custom programs for you. Just ask us!
Bigger is better
For more festive occasions or just to create a bigger sound, we can add our drummer, Dave Finlayson, to the basic quintet. With rhythm added, we effectively become a very affordable mini dance band that is ideally suited for dinner/dance nights, outdoor patio parties, open houses, weddings and corporate events.
Bookings & Holiday time
We can make bookings as far into the future as you like! While there’s usually sufficient space and time to accommodate booking requests, special occasions such as New Year’s Eve or Canada Day, or big occasions like weddings, are commonly booked a year or more in advance, so please bear that in mind when planning. Last-minute requests are fine, as long as all group members are available and the program is not too specialized.
